I am inconsistently able to read, and often cannot send, my emails.  I am using Windows Live Mail.  It appears that the "calendar" part of this product is stopping the emails, as I continuously get "There was an error when attempting to connect to Windows Live Calendar Service.  If the error persists , check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative".  I do not want to use Calendar. And have never entered any information to Calendar.   I have today updated Windows Malicious Software Renewal ToolX64-Julu 2013 (KB890830) and  no better.  Also keep receiving remarks such as "You are working on line.  Error  (with a yellow triangle)"  "You are currently working offline.  Would you like to go online now?" when clearly I am on line.  Thank you!
