I can send email from my outlook account using the website as well as with Outlook 2010, but I cannot receive any email at my outlook.com address.
I signed up on several sites using my outlook.com address as the log-in/contact and never got any emails...
Then I decided to test the account by sending - no problem, messages received at my other addresses.
Then I tried sending myself some email to outlook.com and I never get it.
What I do get (eventually) when I try to send from my comcast.net address is an error message that says "Delivery to the following recipients was aborted after 0 second(s): ********@outlook.com".
When I try to send to my outlook.com address from gmail I get this message:
"
Delivery Status Notificati

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain outlook.com by mx1.hotmail.com. [65.55.92.168].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable"

WTF?

Why is it that I can send from my outlook.com address, but I can't receive?

NO:  I don't have forwarding or filtering on or set up in any way.

NO: the emails are NOT in my junk folder.

TIA!
