I need to change the primary alias on my outlook.com account. I changed it two weeks ago only to discover that - contrary to what the outlook.com account management pages said during the process - my Nokia Lumia 920 would no longer sync my account and the only way to fix it was to do a system reset and login with the new primary alias.
At that point I was unable to reset my phone because of un-uploaded pictures, so I changed it back and synced my phone.
That night, I backed up my phone in preparation for the factory reset; I logged back into the outlook.com account management pages and was told that Microsoft keeps track of how many times I change my primary alias and I'd have to try again "next week". I'm very happy I checked that before I factory reset my 920.
It's been two weeks now and I still can't change my primary alias. It still tells me to try again "next week".
I was referred to this page by @MicrosoftHelps on Twitter, hopefully someone here can clear that flag on my account so I can change my primary alias.
