Can’t delete any of my virgin media e’mails in Windows Live Mail – Error message says IMAP provider is not allowing me to delete them

I access my virgin media e'mails through Windows Live Mail.

I am not able to delete these messages (and some of them are spam)

Message is saying IMAP{ provider is not allowing me to delete them.

I have over 10000 messages which are undeletable.

Virgin Media will only help if they are accessed through Outlook express
