I set up my account about 5 years ago for use on my xbox, and have only recently been asked to update my security information through the xbox console. I had forgotten my log in information since it had been quite some time since I accessed my account,
and I had to go through the recovery process to re-obtain my log in information. I was recently able to reset my password, and momentarily gain access to the internet through xbox, but I hit a bit of a brick wall attempting to access my outlook account online,
and suddenly was not able to log in to my xbox account anymore recently as well. For the past few days I've been trying to "Verify my email" (Message reads: To use this email address, you need to verify that you own it. We'll send verification instructions
to *the account I'm trying to verify*. Follow the instructions in the message to verify this email address.) and I am unable to do so as there is no way for me to check my inbox on that account. I added my phone number through the https://sms.live.com website,
and received an account verified message, but I still receive the same message from before about activating my account when trying to access outlook.com. I'm sending this message from my primary account, which is linked into the one I'm trying to access,
and I'm not sure if it's suppose to be sending the verification code to this email or not.. but I haven't received anything.
