My live mail will not allow me to add a signature, it is screened out like it is not available. Please advise, need to add signature to email.

Why do O keep getting an error message everytime I go into I open mail

Under Windows 10 I have lost the slide show facility  in Windows Live Mail . How do I get this back ?

While I was still on Windows 8, I put a profile photo in my email (LiveMail 2012) system.  I now would like to change the photo but can find no way of doing it.  The last reference I found using google chrome was that you only had to change your Microsoft photo and it would be transferred to all your systems.  This is not true of LiveMail.

Up until recently, I could open every attachment that came with an email in Windows 7, Windows Live Mail.  Now, in my inbox, I can see the paperclip indication that the email message has an attachment.  However, when I open the message, the attachment does not appear. I made certain that "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" choice is not selected under Tools>Options>Security.  I disabled email protection in my anti-virus software.  I do not have a firewall.  I set Internet Explorer as my default browser.  Nothing worked.  Please help!  Thank you.

A Tale of two accounts on the one computer running Windows 7 ultimate and Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331. With one Microsoft Account, an outlook.com email address sign in, all mail on WLM is synchronised as are contact and the calendar.

On the second MS Account, outlook.com email address sign in, the mail and contacts synchronise. However calendar does not sync and this message appears 'There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.'. Despite repairing and re-installing WLM  with the latest version this message continues on each of two desktops and one laptop (all running Win7) that I've tried. However I have found that the options available for the calendar include a line that 'Registered email addresses for calendar notifications'  and then a setting to add another email or remove one. This setting is not available in the account that doesn't work but you can add an email address using Microsoft Account where both accounts have the same look and options. Also settings in Outlook are laid out differently and more options are apparent on the account that works. Screenshots are shown. I would welcome and input to solve this mystery as it is quite frustrating, and something I can't fathom. I have checked all other settings and both accounts have the same region and time settings and run on the same software.  The above screenshots show first the working outlook account options for calendar and secondly the non sync account -note the more limited options and information

I am using my Charter Communications account as my email account.  I recently started getting this error message every time I check my email:

"There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

I can't find how to update my Windows Live Mail.  I searched the Microsoft community and one post says to uninstall all of Windows Essentials and then re-install.  That sounds weird to me, but maybe I'm wrong.

I am using Windows 10 and Charter as my email provider and don't really want to remove a whole program that is set to automatically update.  Seems like overkill to me.

If anyone has a very SIMPLE solution for me as I'm not real computer savvy I would appreciate it.

Just started having this problem.  Both the "email or phone" and "password" boxes are highlighted in red with my actual email and password imposed over the top of these terms.  The keep me logged in box is checked.

It will not let me log in until I go into the boxes and delete and reenter at least one of the characters.  At that point the imposition goes away, the boxes are blue and all that is left is my email and password, which once I click on sign in, gets me into my email without further issue.
