i am trying to logging to windows live messenger but i am getting an error code 80072ee7 can you help

3 days ago, a number of my files kept on an external Seagate Hard disk got converted and transferred (without me authorizing) into a new file named "File History/Thiru/ DESKTOP-5T1IEP1/Data/$OF/ " into :
a) folders renamed into numbers, i.e. 31, 129. etc
b) files renamed, eg an excel file renamed "30268 (2017_12_28 12_04_07 UTC)"
I am not sure how it happened but it I would like my files back into the original
folders and under their proper names.
Can you help?

I suddenly cannot save my Quicken file to Windows. After spending a half day with Quicken support, we arrived at the following error message:
Quicken told me it's a Microsoft issue, and they can do nothing further.
Any ideas?
