Thank you
hi, for some reason i am not recieving any emails in my inbox. i have sent myself emails and even those have not showed up. please help.
Hi,

I have not logged into my HOTMAIL account for a long time but that does not mean you just delete my emails and everything. I read on this but I'm really shocked and disappointed to see this. And, its not only me, there are alot of other people out there who have their emails and data missing due to the same reason. I dont understand why you have done this to your clients.

I'm really worried about it because I had some very important documents and memories in my HOTMAIL account... Please tell me how can I get all of my data back ?

Thanks,
Usman Afzal

Hello,

After cleaning out out email on our own mail server by testing and removing invalid emails, we couldn't send emails to anything Microsoft anymore, hotmail, outlook, msn, live. We would get an error report stating that:
"host mx4.hotmail.com[65.54.188.126] said: 550 SC-002
(BAY0-MC4-F25) Unfortunately, messages from *Ip Address* weren't sent."

Looking up the error code tells me that we have been namespace mining, which is true in a way I suppose, but now we're in a situation where we can't send emails to 12,000 customers who want to recieve our emails. After filling out a form where we send our IP in to be checked, we got another email stating:

"We have completed reviewing the IP(s) you submitted. The following table contains the results of our investigation.

More information needed
*Insert our IP address*
There are indications that the above IP(s) are engaged in namespace mining. Outlook.com is blocking all email sent from this IP.

Namespace mining is a method commonly used by malicious senders to generate lists of email addresses. This approach uses automation to sift through possible email names seeking to identify valid email addresses, e.g., *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

You must correct the problem and you must stop the behavior described above. We recommend that you work with your email or network administrator to review the logs of your email servers. Check the sending log files and concentrate on logs that are sending to nonexistent @hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com, @outlook.com?with multiple tries and failures."

And ending with:

"There is no silver bullet to maintaining or improving good IP reputation, but these programs help you proactively manage your email eco-system to help better ensure deliverability to Outlook.com users.

Thank you,

Outlook.com Deliverability Support"

Now, this is all very well and good, but there is no solution to our problem here, no-one to contact or anything.

After this we tried phoning up Microsoft support, only to get bounced around in circles throughout the system as no-one there seemed to know what was going on.

Any help that provides results would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
William Bee

All my emails prior to 11/10/13 have just disappeared from my inbox! So I only have a month's worth of emails in my inbox. I have lost so much information because of this and I am at the end of my tether!

I don't understand.

I have looked at other users' posts who have had the same problem, which have been answered, and support has posted a private link to the individual's question, which is why I am now doing the same, so that I can receive some personal support.

Please help me.

Whenever I try to attach a file to my e-mail, before even I attach, when I click on the "file" in "Insert", the outlook kicks me out and brings me back to my original e-mail screen.  Why is this happening?  My husband tried from his account too and same thing happened.

I was trying to share favorites across computers and copied the Favorites folder to Skydrive.  Now all folders on Skydrive are showing in the Favorites of IE11.

What is wrong?
