Question about Outlook Express

Since I upgraded Windows from Version 8 to 8.1 my Skydrive (Excel) files are Read Only, which prevents updating them. Typically I will save a copy to a SDXC card, also to the C drive and then to the Skydrive which is the default drive to save to in Office 365. It also seems that many of the files are shown as available offline only which makes me think that they are not on SkyDrive. I get a "must be administrator to modify file" message,  (I am) and I have tried to change the attributes to the folders to not be read only. Every time I go through the process and retry to save, the files revert to read-only status.

I have tried to access the files from another machine and they do not seem to be on the SkyDrive. I can copy using File Explorer however this is cumbersome and requires leaving Excel to go to another app certainly not very convenient and likely fraught with potential for error. What was changed? How do I get back to the original process? 

I am contacting support because this is not the case.

A client of mine using Live mail on Custom Domains says they can receive email, except from certain specific addresses.

The client says that the emails have not gone to their junk folder and the sender has not received a bounce notification.

What steps should be taken to ensure that emails from these senders will be received?

The requested account name is already in use or was used in the past and has not been through the required waiting period to re-use.

I may have deleted the original email account because I was having trouble setting it up.
