I created an alias with my account however it does't show up. It say "You have no Outlook aliases", but if I try to create it again...it tells me that that This email address is already an alias on your account.
The account I am trying to close is this one, the one I used to make this community profile. I went into account settings and then I clicked on "close account." It said I have to deactivate my Hotmail account first and then it will automatically close
my Microsoft account after a while of inactivity. Whenever I click on "deactivate Hotmail account," I am only redirected to MSN. If I try to go back to outlook.com, it open my email normally, as if I never closed or deactivated anything. Why am I getting redirected

I have a Windows 8.1 desktop and a Windows Phone 8 smartphone. I use Windows Live Photo Gallery for downloading files from my phone's camera role. Now that I've got 8.1 on my desktop and a new broadband line that gives fast download and upload speeds I
want to go over to using Skydrive for a majority of my data from 2014, just like MS are encouraging us to do. The problem I foresee is not being able to stop video clips I take with my Windows 8 phone from uploading to Skydrive after I download them from my
smartphone. The download feature of Live Photo Gallery and for that matter the WIndows 8.1 Windows Phone app downloads both photos and videos to my pictures folders rather than separately to my Pictures resp, Video folders. So if my Pictures folder is on Skydrive,
which is the intention, the synch program will start uploading my often very large video clips to Skydrive too. I don't want this to happen so was wondering if anyone has any idea as to what I can do to stop files over a certain size to be uploaded to Skydrive?
When I set up a pop account in Apple Mail ,it removed some of of my emails but not all.
I now get the following message every time i log into my hotmail account.
Your messages are in your POP folder!
Some other program is set to download and delete your messages from Outlook. Just in case this was an accident, we've put them in a special POP folder. Not an accident? Change settings
When i click "change settings", I get a message that there is a problem with hotmail right now.
I should note that in trying to fix the problem I moved my emails back to my inbox and deleted the POP folder . I also removed the hotmail account from the Apple Mail program .
Hello, my outlook account has been deleted I think because of inactivity but I still need it because its linked to my iTunes account. Does anyone know how I van recover it?

Below you can read the answer of the two dopes who work on this site. One, Marvelous Merc, informs me that there is a limit to how many emails I can send out -- BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO SEND A SINGLE EMAIL from this account which was blocked since
inception. The 2nd numbnuts sends me back to the help desk which I have been trying to get help from since the beginning -- to no avail at all. Meanwhile, all somebody has to do is unblock my account which was blocked for absolutely no good reason, as there

All they have to do is unblock my account, which I have asked them to do many times. But that would be too simple for the advanced support team that includes Marvelous Merc. Have never had anything similar happen to gmail accounts. Now i regret buying

Before migrating my old email address to outlook.com I had an old @live.com address (connected to hotmail) which I currently need to gain access to. I have some other accounts that used that email address and in order to use the password reset feature
on those accounts I need to gain access to the email address to access the password reset links. Is there a way to still access my old account? The companies of the accounts I need to access can't verify the email, so they won't be able to change it over the
phone.
