Question about Outlook Express

I go to Hotmail.com (which sends me to login.live.com), enter my email address and password, and it seems to be searching for my email account for a very long time. I think once or twice, I left it long enough and it said something about page not available or not found.

I changed my password. Didn't help.

I tried accessing it from Internet Explorer 10, Google Chrome, and Firefox. No luck.

I tried a different computer. No luck.

I can read my email from my smartphone (WindowsPhone8) fortunately.

Any ideas of how to get into my email?

I received an error message that I had exceeded my quota, at the same time that all of my files stopped uploading (Error: Not enough space on Skydrive).  I uograded from 27 G to 57G account, but am unable to get file upload restarted.  I have stopped the sync process in Taskmanager, restarted the Skydrive app. restarted computer, completely shutdown and allowed to start fresh, to no avail.   I am unable to restart or finish the upload of files.  The Skydrive folder shows the 2 arrow upload icon, and several of the sub-folders have error icon - the yellow trinage with an ! - I can go through the directory tree to the actual files with the error icon on them, and load them into the program(s) and then close, and forsce the upload, but I do not want to have to open 5000+ files to get them uploaded.  ANy suggestions??  I am comfortable with setting/resetting attributes or other lower level substantive changes, if it can be done on a batch basis, and not individual files.

My son requires additional security on his xbox gold account... to do this he has to log on to his live account... to do this he requires parental permission... which I am happy to give... but I must then prove that I am an adult by making a small credit card payment... but when it asks me for a billing address it won't allow me to enter my UK address... I have learned that this is because my son's account was incorrectly set up as a US account (default?). I have been told that to solve this I must log in to my son's account and change his home address... but I cannot do this because it won't let anyone access it before it gets parental permission... Catch 22... Has anyone got a solution for me?? I am tearing my hair out in frustration (it took a week for Microsoft to come up with the solution above)... and there seems to be no one to talk to at the company to find a solution...
