I can't attach a picture on my Hotmail email message. I keep getting the message "We're still getting set up. Please try again". What gives? Where's the good ol' Hotmail?
My Hotmail account will let me receive emails, but I cannot reply or forward. I cannot attach documents or photos from my computer And I cannot write a new email.
The only menu item that shows is "New" and when I click on it, nothing happens. I do not get the "To", "Subject" or blank body of email to fill in.
What could be the problem? How do I fix it?
Thank you for any advice you can give me.

I am running Windows 8.1 on a Dell laptop.
I have a number of groups set up in the People page on Outlook.com. They have existed for some time and I have used them repeatedly to send out broadcast emails. Recently (following the 8.1 update?) I found that recipients had not seen the emails I had sent. On checking I found that the groups were either completely empty or contained a handful of contacts where there had previously been a considerable number. I have tried changing the group names and rebuilding them, but they become empty soon after.
This is a massive limitation on my use of Outlook.com. Can anyone suggest what the problem is, or a workaround that will let me mail out to lists in one form or another.
Thanks
For almost three days, I have not been able to compose, nor reply to any emails. The buttons do not work. When I click on the buttons, they do not work at all. Someone please help me. I have some important things to send off.
Hello,
I store all of my pictures on Skydrive, I recently upgraded to Win 8.1 and all of my folders downloaded to my hard drive taking up a significant amount of space. Searching online I was able to find how to enable/disable offline mode using the win 8 Skydrive app.
Two questions...
Is there a way in the future for me to select the offline mode up front versus having my files sync automatically?
Second,
Now that my files have downloaded to my hard drive I'm concerned that if I delete them they will be permanently deleted on Skydrive. I've tested this process and when I deleted a file on my PC it deleted it in the cloud. I have roughly 40gbs of pictures that is now taking up space on my HDD and I would like to safely remove these files without removing from Skydrive. An help you can provide would be great.
Thanks,
CJ
