Question about Outlook Express

when I enter appointments in the calendar, so these are not displayed.

But in "MYDAY" are there they. What can I Do?

How can you save emails, with msg format, using PST format? Another thing, I couldn't find my contacts when i configured my gamil with outlook 2016 for mac. I couldn't important my contacts either from my gmail account nor from the mail application on mac.

I have a group made of about 30 emails of people that I have constituted on my Mac in its contact book.

When i change an email to another it shows it in the list, but when I type the groupe name in an email it still keeps the old list without the changed name needed?

Second, I am having trouble with Outlook on my MacBook Air.  It is running OS X El Capitan, version10.11.2.  My email account is through a 3rd party and not one of the big ones.  When I try to set up Outlook through an exchange, it seems to connect to the other email, with all the correct ports, but cannot sync with it.  There are two error messages that come up, but not at the same time.

1. Server cannot connect.  Try again in a few minutes.

2. Outlook cannot set up this account.  Do you want to check your security settings?

Nothing seems to work.  I tried to set it up as an Exchange, an IMAP and as a POP.

Note: I am basically a PC guy with limited Mac experience.  I inherited the laptop.

I need to export the email addresses of the people who have emailed me. Does anyone know how to do this?

Anyone else with this issue and any answers to how it can be fixed? 

I have Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 - for some reason - some of my email addresses (i have 5) are (on their own) adding one or more of my other email addresses as secondary contacts within my outlook contacts..

So when i send from one email address it looks like it's coming from another since the contact now has 2 or 3 emails associated with it. I never actually built the original contact in outlook, so it's doing this on its own.  I have found a number of subjects about "suggested contacts" and it seems like this might be the issue.  I'm trying to figure out how to disable but heck if i can find where to go on my version of outlook.  Anyone else seen this type of issue? Thanks very much.
