I have a recurrent problem.  Since I get pretty absorbed in my job, I use the Reminders function in Outlook for many ridiculously mundane and obvious tasks, like "Go to Lunch" or "Clean Processor" or "Go to Production Meeting" or "Backup Drive 2" or  "Leave!"  (seriously).

I've been using this program in various incarnations for many years.

I set up the reminders to have an alarm go off "0 minutes before" the event, then save them as a series.

It usually works fine for a week or two, then suddenly none of the alarms go off and I've missed the beginning of a meeting or whatever.

I go into the Reminders and every one of them has "Alarm" set to "none."

Outlook never crashes on me, so it's probably not a preference corruption.

I do clean caches or repair permissions on my Mac once in a while, but haven't done it in a few days, and this particular malfunction just happened today.

I already backed up the database, but it would be weird if it defaulted back to "none" from whatever alarms I previously set.

Anybody seen this? and have a solutions?  Thanks in advance!

Hi friends, just newbie to this community.

I've been wondering now and then if there's the possibility of setting an "auto fill" in the subject line for Outlook 2011 for Macintosh.

Say, my intention is to always display the name of my business in the subject line, but allowing to further completion. It would look:

[Company Name] — Whatever text is the mail about.

The part in brackets is what I'd like to always appear upon command-new email; without the need to write it every time.

Is that even possible?

Thanks in advance!

I have Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac. After installing OS X El Capitan, Outlook now crashes when I try to to print multiple emails. It allows me to only print one email to a pdf. Before installing OS X El Capitan I could print multiple emails to a pdf with no problem. I now get a window that says, "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. It then closes out the application.

I have installed the latest updates that I am aware of. Please any input would be appreciated on how to resolve this or let me know if you know if Microsoft is aware of this problem and is working on a fix.

Although I am still receiving messages in  my Hotmail Inbox. My Sent mail is not functioning. Every few moments I am getting a message to sign in with my Hotmail password. When I do this the password is immediately rejected. How can I rectify this?

I have tried signing in with my Microsoft Account and this is not working either.

I can't seem to find an easy way to copy an event that occurs on one day and paste it on another.

The copy/paste functions are greyed out.  Any suggestions?

Interesting.  I am using 14.6.6.6  Outlook for Mac 2011.   The problem has survived past several automatic updates of software.

Hi,

I have a user that Uses Outlook for Mac 2011 . We use Exchange (office 365) accounts. They only have their work exchange account on the machine.

For the past few days whenever she receives an email it goes straight into the 'My Computer' inbox rather than her Exchange account inbox like normal.

I've checked the rules and there are none set.

If a message is receive using outlook when the user logs into the Exchange Webmail the message has been removed from the server.

Any one any ideas ? not seen this before.

Hello,

As you have seen the screenshot above, my two (02) accounts doesn't list in Navigation Panel, but it lists inside where the subject of the message listed instead.  Please let me know how can I list those accounts as folders in the Navigation Panel.  Thank you very much.

As of August 2016 this issue still persists.

Thank you, Microsoft :/
