Both of my daughters have a child account profile in Outlook.com.
One can use the Outlook.com app on her phone perfectly, but the younger one gets an error.
I decided to try changing the younger one's date of birth, as her birthday is just around the corner anyway.
But, I can't edit the date of birth on her profile. I can on my profile, but on hers, it's disabled. I figured it's a child safety feature.
So, I tried to access the profile through Family Safety, but I don't see any way to change the date of birth there either. I tried to see the profile through the Xbox Live and on the Xbox, but I don't want to promote her account to an adult - I just want her to have the same access as her sister.
I tried setting up the Outlook.com as an exchange account on the Samsung phone, but, of course, it didn't work right. The email works...but the shared Outlook.com calendar doesn't populate at all, and that defeats the entire point of the phones - which was to help them to be more organized. These phones were a gift to my daughters - early birthday presents from their aunt, and I can't just get rid of them.
I read that I should be able to create an inquiry in the secure support area for this issue - but just ended up clicking around in circles trying to find a way to submit a secure question regarding Outlook.com or anything similar.
I really don't want to lose her email address. If I have to close the account, the email address is lost forever.
Is there anyway to get support on the date of birth change?
