I receive the following message when I attempt to close my Microsoft account:

You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account.

I don't believe I have any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with my account however; how do I delete my account when there is no possibility to cancel the paid services or Microsoft Points?
