Outlook.com's automatic linking to social media has created a means for anybody to take control of my profile photo and advertise their twitter account.
I sent my wife an email from my Outlook.com account and it showed up on her end with a profile photo of Justin Bieber. I checked my setting and my profile, and I do not have this photo in my profile. After doing some research, I realized that the photo showed up because Outlook.com is displaying photos/info from Facebook and Twitter. This is not my twitter account. Somebody else created a twitter account and listed my email address as the associated contact info The problem is, this photo of Justin Bieber will appear whenever anybody opens an email from me, and I have no way to prevent that. The instructions on the Outlook.com site say to go to your twitter account and prevent others from searching for you by email in order to de-link the accounts. But because this is not my twitter account, I cannot do that.
Please let me know how I can fix this situation, or I will need to deactivate my account and use another service.
