Side question: does an aliased email address act as it's own mailbox? For example an @hotmail and an @outlook on the same microsoft account would be two separate email boxes and just pointers to a single mail box?
I have a current microsoft account which is my main account. When Outlook.com was launched I created a new @outlook.com email address and didn't realize it created a brand new microsoft account. What I would prefer to do is delete my @outlook.com account
so that I can create an alias @outlook.com address that is on my current microsoft account. Is this possible or do I have to delete my account and wait an X number of days before I can reuse the @outlook.com email address?
