Does Live Calendar support subscribing to ICS calendar feeds over https?

I've been trying to subscribe to an ICS calendar feed served from an TLS/SSL-encrypted (HTTPS) URL

Every time, adding the subscribed calendar fails with the message "There's a problem with the calendar URL that you entered. Please make sure you've entered it correctly and try again."

I also tried subscribing to another calendar over an unencrypted (HTTP) feed, and that worked fine.

I know that the .ics data produced by the feed is ok (verified with various ics validators), so I'm suspecting that the problem is HTTPS. The certificate for the domain is valid, so that's not it.

Does Live Calendar support subscribing to calendar feeds over httpS at all? If not, will support for this be added in the future?
