Does Windows Live Essentials, in particular Windows Live Mail, receive updates via Windows Update?

If not - why not? And how can I tell?

I have Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205)

This may seem like a silly question - but - inquiring minds want to know!
