Emails deleted in Outlook 2013 (on Windows) still show when I open Outlook 2011 on Mac

I deleted a good 100 emails from my deleted items folder using Outlook on Windows. So they are all permanently gone. 
I open Outlook on Mac and go to deleted items and scroll to the date range that I deleted and I can still see all of them. 

Any ideas where to start with troubleshooting?
