Error message Your profile could not be opened correctly

Hi - can anyone help with the following:

  1. When opening my browser I get the error message - Your profile could not be opened correctly
  2. I then click OK 2 times the error message then clears and I can browse
  3. This only started to happen yesterday
  4. I've also noticed that my outlook user name has to be input each time whereas normally it is defaulted
  5. I have tried using Google Chrome as my browser instead of Fire Fox but the error message still displays when opening my browser
