What would normally happen is I head over to YouTube, enter my email address, click sign in, and it would redirect to a Microsoft account sign in page where I would re-enter the email address and enter my password. There I would click sign in, it would authenticate, and then redirect me back to YouTube signed in. 

This was the older option of signing in before two step, and if I can sign in again, I am disabling federated right away.

Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.
