Hi there, I have a hotmail account, used solely as the email account for a facebook account. Sadly it has been hacked, I have tried now for 3 hours to get it back and so far no luck. I was directed to post here. So the hacker has changed the password and
the security question, so I went through the account recovery step and it asked me a serious of questions. Along the lines of, who have you sent emails to, subject of emails sent, xbox live account billing and my security question. Needing me to get a series
of them right or an automated system would even send off my account recovery request.
Sadly it has been a looooong time since I last logged into this account, but i dont think it would of matter anyway. I use it to store emails, not to send them. So going back along the line, I have never sent any emails, my xbox details I believe are associated
with another account, (I have tried entering these the automated system turns me down.) And as mentioned earlier, my security question has been changed to one that I would have never of picked because I have never known the answer.
After calling Microsoft and trying to explain this to them (I dont think the people I spoke to understand the problem) as they repeatedly told me to do the account recovery but i explained the question dont allow me to do so. How am i meant to recover the account
through sent emails when i have never sent them. I was told to come here. So whats my next step, I need to get this account back so i can move some stuff of then i would clear it and delete.
