My hotmail account was also down for a period of time this morning.  Once b/4 my account changed its appearance, but I was able to restore the 1st rendition of my hotmial account (which I much prefer).  Now I am unable to locate the "change back" button or whatever it was that I used previously.  I think we as customers not only deserve some answers, but as Miriam said, we pay for this service so we should be able to get what we want.
