So my hotmail account, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, suddenly stopped existing about a week ago.  I've contacted technical support and they sent me here.

I have verified repeatedly that the account name is correct, I have never made it an alias to another account.  When I try to make it an alias to my outlook account now it tells me that it doesn't exist, but when I try to make it an alias to my outlook account by creating a new email it tells me I can't because that account is already in use.  I've been using this account almost daily for several years, and it is always signed in on my phone.
please help me get the account back.
