However, I want to thank the more than 15 individual moderators, escalation agents and system analysts who were involved in my case and to whom I was extremely rude and abrupt in my approach in getting my account re-opened. I now understand that my original hotmail address is still functional and the original data not lost nor archived, it has simply been transferred over to the new outlook format and that logging in with my hotmail details is still as it used to be. So persist, (it took me 6 weeks all up) and keep creating your requests on the newer recommended site, not this one. IN the end it seems as if it was just a matter of someone at the appropriate level of decision making to look over the issue and work out the solution. 

My approach was not everybody's style yet in my case, the only way I can understand the complexity of today's IT and get something done.
