Today I have added a gmail account to my Hotmail account and I changed my password, I also attempted to use the authentication app to enhance security however this was not successful so I deleted the functions. 5 minutes later the webpage displayed 'your account has now been changed to outlook' and ALL MY EMAILS FROM THE LAST 15 YEARS OF MY LIFE HAVE DISAPPEARED. How and why has this happened ? I have tried recovering them but it says there are no emails to be found.

Is this because I added an alias to my account that everything has vanished??

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP, IM MISSING SO MANY IMPORTANT BUISNESS EMAILS
