I experienced problems trying to sign into my Hotmail account this morning -- namely, whenever I entered my email address and password into the Hotmail sign-in page, I'd get the same sign-in page again (but with the address and password fields empty).
I couldn't proceed beyond the sign-in page. There was NO error message at all. All I got was the same sign-in page requesting my email address and password again. I did this a few times and encountered the same problem each time.
At that point, my only option was to request that I be able to reset my password. I did this, created a new password, and was able to sign in as normal.
Since I had no problems signing in yesterday and did nothing this morning before encountering the sign-in problem, what is likely to have happened? There's no evidence (that I can see or detect) that any hacking or unusual activity occurred with my account
settings or the messages within the account. It's also unusual that there was no error message. Any ideas???
