How can I convert users mailboxes/files from POP3 to IMAP in Outlook 2011 and ensure all old emails exists in the new IMAP account?

I am having problems with my email and am about to do a big recovery and having to set up new accounts etc.  so I thought in the process I go from POP to IMAP.  FYI I have 9 POP accounts that need to be switched.

I have loads of messages in folders and want those to appear again in he IMAP setup.  I have questions like:

How do I best import those?  
Via .olm?  
Or drag to desktop and drag back in to IMAP setup?  
Will the email address that they are send to get lost in the transfer?
