How do New User – How do I go back to hotmail after i’ve entered a hotmail contact?….it appears i’m in outlook when i clicked help – I must be missing something

New USER. How do i go back to homail after I've entered an hotmail contact/ Why am I some else OUTLOOK CONTACTS/

Could some explain it like I was  2 year old.
