I have already ignored several of these emails thinking they were some kind of phishing email, but now there have just been too many of them. I would guess that this is one of two problems. Either #1, someone else mistakenly has my email address listed
as their secondary email. Or #2, Microsoft is sending the account verification email to the wrong account. If #1, wouldn't the secondary email address have to be confirmed before it could be added to an account? If so, there is no way my email could have
been added. I'm leaning more towards #2, mostly because there have been several times in the last few months that I have been required to verify my account (to change settings, etc) and the email was never delivered to my secondary address. How do I fix
this? I feel bad for the real person trying to verify their account. I personally know how frustrating it is.
