I created a new Hotmail account and allowed it to receive emails sent to my old account, but the only emails my new account has received since its creation on 9 October 2012 has been the new account's confirmation email, an email just now from Microsoft Community and a test email I sent to myself; I have not received an email sent to me by my brother or a confirmation email requested of Facebook. Is there something I've done wrong?
