I had a Hotmail account & I’ve done the “send-only” process to have Hotmail forward emails to Outlook. How do I access all the old emails that were in my Hotmail account?

Hi, 

I hadn't accessed my Hotmail account in a LONG time. Now I've discovered it has been "absorbed" by Microsoft and has to be accessed via Outlook.com. After learning how to do this and having set up to have any Hotmail messages forwarded via "send-only" to Outlook, I think I'm set on that area. 

However, there would have been MANY emails still in the old Hotmail account. Seeing as i can't access the account via www.hotmail.com to retrieve those emails, I'm at a loss as to how to solve my dilemma. 

Does anyone know how to retrieve old Hotmail messages? If you do, please let me know the process.
