I have been trying to get Windows Live Mail to work but it does not let me change or put in a new pass word. It keeps showing Server:plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com is not connected how do I get this fixed

I have been trying to get Windows Live Mail to work but it does not let me change or put in a new password. It keeps showing the following Server:plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com is not connected. How do I get this fixed.?
