I made aspelling mistake in a contact address, deleted the contact but the incorrect address still appears in the addresss field when I type the correct address.How can I remedy this?

Contact name is Lica but I entered lica when first mail was sent and received an 'no dlelivery'message. The original incorrect name still appears even when I type in the correct address with the capital 'L'
