If Hotmail is being transitioned to Outlook, why am I getting a bill for the Hotmail Plus renewal?

I paid for Hotmail Plus for various resaons.  Now that Outlook is being shoved down are throats, does anyone have any idea why I am being billed for the Hotmail Plus renewal?  From what I understand Hotmail will soon be gone.
