IMAP mail stays in inbox when i delete it from my e-mail program

I use MAC mail with Outlook.com IMAP. When i delete a message in MAC mail, it stays in my Inbox on Outlook.com. I don't want it. The message should be moved to deleted. How do i get this to work?
