For several months, I've been receiving phishing e-mails... from myself. My name, my Hotmail address. They're the usual PayPal login scams, etc. All are sent from a hosted site (most recent is hosteurope.de), with my e-mail address as the header
ID.
I believe that a contact's account may have been hacked, and their address book details copied and stored.
I've had my computer scanned - several times - no malware. I've also changed my Hotmail password - several times. They keep coming.
Header information in the e-mails happily discloses the site(s) from which the e-mails are emanating, and that the Microsoft server recognises that they're not from my account (identity alignment result is fail).
Why are they still hitting my (and anyone's) Inbox - and how do I stop them?
