I sign on with password to the Hotmail account as is necessary with Windows 8. It then asks for extra security by means of a code which Microsoft say they will send to my email address. But there never is any response so there is no code.

This is frustrating because without this I cannot trust PC and synch.

How do I go about getting a code.
