So I bought a new tablet from John Lewis and I asked for help inputting apps and emails on it. The gentleman kindly 'fixed' it for me. Or so I thought. He combined my gmail account with my hotmail account and now im not receivng any of my hotmail emails and everything seems to have been deleted from my account.

Can anyone please explain to me in layman's terms whats going on? And how to sort this issue out? John Lewis hasnt helped nor has the microsoft customer services team.
