There is either a problem here, or my iMac's (late 2006) hard drive/OS is corrupt. Even with a clean install of MS Office 2011 and then updating it to 14.2.2, and with iCal purged of all prior associations, when you run Sync Services on a POP Account the entries loop and continue repeating themselves indefinitely, this in turn launches MS Office Reminders into a frantic tizzy, and after a few moments you have lost control of your computer. The only way out is a hard reset.
