I've been asked by your colleagues on Twitter to create a separate thread for my issue. I'm going to paste this from the other big thread into here.
I've already given the (useless) mods all the info I was asked, so now I'd like to see Microsoft Support at work. I have no faith in getting this fixed in 2013, but hey... what the ****... wishful thinking. There's always Google, you know. And that works.

Hi guys,
I mean, there's no official app for Outlook.com that I can use to get my Calendar stuff nor support for CalDAV as far as I know, so... what can I do? Don't tell me to switch to Windows 8, as this is not the point (and I already use it, just not on the Mac).
So, I'm having the same problem as everyone here. I'm trying to add (subscribe) my Outlook.com calendar in OS X Mountain Lion (yeah, on a Mac) and the same problem occurs.
The Calendar application in Mountain Lion hits me with this error --
I tried to access the links via the web browser -- Google Chrome, Safari (which redirects to the default Calendar app, anyway -- and the same thing happened -- URL cannot be reached.
Now, I know I'm not doing anything major here, and am not alone in having this issue. It's clearly a problem between us all and Microsoft's servers. What are you, Microsoft, doing to fix it?
End quote
PS: I've already done the links reset thingy, so don't bother telling me that.
