Original file: QuickTime (from iPhone) 0:30m 1920x1080 24 frames/sec, 21472 kbps Data rate = 77.0 MB

Only edit was to rotate 90 degrees.  No clipping/trimming.

Output from Movie Maker @ High-Def Display preset: MP4 1920x1080 29 frames/sec, 3108 kbps Data rate = 11.8 MB

Output from Movie Maker @ YouTube preset: same as above

(Seems weird that the output for High-Def is the same as for YouTube, but quality seems fine playing on my computer.)

LOVE the much smaller file size, but I'm just wondering if I'm losing quality (for play other than computer) by processing with Movie Maker, and if it's a mistake to delete original files.  Should I create a custom save setting?

Setting up a custom setting with 1920x1080, 21472 bit rate, 29.97 frame setting (audio 128 kbps, 48 kHz) = 154 MB.  Much larger than original.  No bueno.  It must be related to the Bit/data rate but I don't know what that means for the video quality.

Any input is appreciated.
