Question about Outlook Express

at first, I apologize for my bad English, because it's not my mother tongue.

Well, I am a Windows 10 user and would like to install the old, classical Windows Movie Maker version, that was used in Windows XP.

I have read several threads before with the sameand the following link was recommended pretty much but when I clicked on the installation link, nothing happened

Thus, I do not have any clue, what to do. Does anyone in this forum still know, how to get this old version of Movie Maker?

I have been using Windows Movie Maker for close to 20 years, and my PC now has the 2012 version (build 16.4.3528.0331).  It has worked pretty well for the last 10 years, but inexplicably something has changed, and I want to change it back.  Until maybe a month ago, when I went to save a video, the "save movie" menu gave me a list of available qualities (or resolutions) at which I could save the video, including the highest quality version available.  However, that has now changed, and when I click "save movie", I am only given 2 choices: "Recommended for this project", or "Create custom settings".  The former gives no information about what quality it would be saving it at (and how could it possibly know what to "recommend" if it doesn't know what the video is for?!), and the latter gives far too many options -- frame rate, bit rate, height, width.  That is equally problematic, since I have no idea what changing variables like the frame-rate might do to the video!

Is there any way to revert to the older menu that gave me choices between existing presets, like it used to?

Where Can I Post A Suggestion For File Explorer?

Suddenly most old notations from past years have disappeared, births, deaths, etc. how do I recover them?
