Hello,

Would really appreciate some help on an issue with Outlook 2011 - I will explain all that I can.

Environment

We have Exchange 2010 server on our network - We have 10 Clients using Apple Mac (Various Pro Laptops & Imacs - Operating systems range from 10.7.5 up to latest 10.9 Mavericks) and the remainder are using PC (Windows 7).

We have run this set-up for around 2 1/2 years with few issues of note that haven't been resolved.

Problems

Outlook 2011 on the Apple Macs is running extremely slowly, the initial load time is longer than usual, any operation that you try to perform, be that selecting an email, scrolling in email, accessing the menus, replying & typing causes the beach ball... this spins for approximately 1-2 minutes before freeing, and allowing you to continue for momentarily before doing the same again.

Whats been tried

Ensuring Outlook 2011 is on latest update

Ensuring Operating system is on latest update

Rebuilding Outlook database on client machine

Removing the Main Identity folder

Complete removal (Following Microsoft instructions) and Re-installation of Outlook 2011

Set up Fresh new email account

Further Information

The PC's within our network are fine - exhibiting no issues - Have even used one of the email addresses that was on an apple mac on the PC, and it works perfectly. OWA is unaffected and runs fine for all email accounts.

Have tested Mac Mail with the accounts on the apple macs - and this does not exhibit any of these issues.

The problems have been going on now for a week.

I am not an IT specialist by any means, but I know enough to get by, so any technical information on fixes, instructions would be appreciated or links on how to.

We do not employ any IT people to solely handle our network.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
