After many errors trying to download messages from live.com to my Outlook app, I logged onto www.live.com. All of my messages were in the inbox, however across the bottom was a message saying all messages were in the POP folder. I don't have a POP folder!
I discovered that somehow the use of POP had been disabled, I enabled it. Still no POP folder, still cannot download messages, still get error message saying
"reported error (0x80041003) : the server reported a temporary error. Error 5102 Server xfs request "syncbinary failed. Response AuxData (Base 64). Next line was "reported error 0X8004102A) error with Send/Receive. At the present moment, I hate outlook,
live and outlook connector.
Outlook connector fails authentication on at least 1 of my 2 emails everytime I try to download messages. Frequently, on both of them.
I have deleted outlook and the connector, reinstalledd them, deleted email accounts and set them up again. I'm at a loss to understand WHY
this is happening and completely frustrated. This is on my Dell laptop only - downloads to phone and tablet work just fine.
