I have a hotmail account that I have been using for almost everything for the last few years. I log on to this account once a month at least, from several different computers. Yesterday I logged on using my home computer to receive the error message "looks
like some one else might be using your account". I am then given the option to verify my account with my recovery email address. My recovery email address is a yahoo one that I made 6 years ago, and have never accessed. It was therefore deleted for inactivity.
Now the only other option is to verify via a questionare. I am only able to enter the basic information, e.g name, date of birth, country. But because I never email or receive emails with this account, I cannot enter anything into the email subjects or contacts
field, I also do not own an Xbox 360, so I cannot enter any information regarding that as well. This then prevents me from completing the survey, and being unable to retrieve my account.
Furthermore, I also have a secondary account, which is just my normal *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but with a 2 at the end, so it looks like this, *** Email address is removed for privacy *** . I tried to log on to that account, but when I did, it made that account an alias of the main account, and now
I am unable to access the secondary account as well. This wouldn't really be a problem losing these two accounts for me, except that my secondary account is used for my games for windows live account. So I am therefore unable to play any PC games that uses
games for windows live. The main game being Grand Theft Auto 4. Since my GTA 4 account uses my secondary hotmail account as the email address for my games for windows live account, I am unable to play GTA 4 with my current save data.
If anyone can offer me a possible solution for this dilemma then it would really be appreciated.
