"Task ' * @msn.com' - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90): 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'" 

The problem is Receiving and Sending from only 1 account, other accounts '@live.com' seem to work OK.

Can anyone suggest what this problem might be, please??  & How to fix it?? 

I'm running Outlook 2007 on an XP desktop to receive all MSN.COM and LIVE.COM emails.
