Okay, so first of all, I use Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. I always log into my main administrator account with my microsoft.com email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and have been doing so for several months. However, I am running into problems with all sorts of things
including a very intermittent and unreliable HomeGroup functionality, the (sometimes) duplication of my user account (in other words, my admin account VAIO64 will show up twice: VAIO64 VAIO64(1) - as though I created two accounts! WHICH CHAPS MY ****!) and
the enivatble AND EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING notifications and inability to open some programs, share folders, and other redundant BS (e.g., having to run EVERY program and process as an administrator, even though, I am listed as the administrator, this is my computer,
and no one else has ever even touched it, yet alone, given themselves administrator access over me! That and the fact that no other users are shown under User Accounts, except for that of my own ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT!) Therefore, here the other day, I said
screw it and decided to set up a new account as a Standard User (being, Microsoft "recommends" it). So I thought hey, what the ****. Anyhow, Well, of course in order to keep things in sync (being that I have 3 other computers, and utilize a lot of Microsoft
apps, including everything from Skydrive and Office, to Visio and DreamSpark) I knew that I needed to use another Microsoft account. And from what I read, the "best way" to keep things in sync is to create an alias, which I did (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). And yet, while
I can receive mail at that address, open up every microsoft webpage, account and application with it as well; yet, when it comes to simply signing in using that extra/spare account in Windows, I get an error telling me my password doesn't match. But fortunately,
I also get a "kind" message letting me know, that all I have to do is simply go to www.account.live.com/password/reset and then come back and log in. Well guess what? THAT DOESN'T WORK! So, I am able to reset it and peruse all the sites like always, but somehow,
it doesn't do a single thing about the password problem I have now spent 2 days straight trying to fix!? C'mon Microsoft!! What a joke! PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE.
